Job summary

Castlery is hiring a Logistics Operation Specialist to join our AU Logistics Operations team, shaping the post-purchase experience for AU customers. You will manage returns, invoices, and delivery coordination, collaborating with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve issues promptly.

Based in Johor Bahru, you will work on a 12-month contract renewable based on performance, with onsite responsibilities for Sunway Iskandar and remote options for other locations in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience working with external vendors or logistics providers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify gaps and translate insights.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives in operations/logistics/warehouse.
• Experience with invoice validation or reconciliation is a plus.
• Attention to detail managing data, invoices, and records.
• Familiarity with operational systems (WMS/TMS/ERP) is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're rethinking homes for how people really live, and we're looking for a Logistics Operation Specialist to join our AU Logistics Operations team to help shape the future of living - one thoughtful detail at a time.

Operations at Castlery makes it all work — streamlining processes and elevating every customer touchpoint. In this role, you'll own the post-purchase experience for our AU customers: actively managing deliveries, coordinating with logistics partners, and resolving operational challenges before they reach the customer.

You'll work side by side with our operations team, CX, other internal teams, and logistics providers to make sure every customer gets prompt, professional support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own and manage returns operations, including coordination with relevant internal teams and logistics partners to ensure timely resolution.
• Manage and review logistics-related invoices, ensuring charges are accurate and aligned with agreed rates and services.
• Coordinate special delivery arrangements and resolve delivery exceptions, delays, or other operational issues by working closely with carriers and internal teams.
• Monitor and follow up on operational issues and recurring exceptions, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.
• Support logistics partner coordination and performance management.
• Analyze operational data and reports to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement projects and other operational tasks as assigned.

Work Arrangement

• Candidates based in Johor Bahru: fully onsite at our Sunway Iskandar office
• Candidates based elsewhere in Malaysia: fully remote

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience working with external vendors or logistics providers, including vendor coordination and issue resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify operational gaps and translate insights into practical actions.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives within an operations, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with invoice validation or reconciliation would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing data, invoices, and operational records.
• Comfortable working with operational systems and data, with exposure to systems such as WMS, TMS, or ERP being an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
