Job summary

KEBACO SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a Management Trainee and Data Analyst to help drive special projects across sustainability, IoT, and infrastructure initiatives within Estate Operations.

You will plan, manage, and report on projects, liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors, and assist IT software administration, training, and analysis to improve productivity. Fresh graduates with data analysis experience are encouraged to apply, with Bahasa Malaysia and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, management, and reporting for diverse initiatives.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors; conduct research to support projects.
• Develop basic business case proposals including cost assessments and budgeting.
• Develop presentation materials and briefing documents; support in external presentations.
• Oversee overall project planning, implementation, and success of assigned projects.
• Assist in administrating and managing IT software (e.g., GPS tracking software): deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, parameter updates, user training, and operation reports.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly operation reports and provide insights for productivity improvements.
• Identify and rectify issues; plan efficient work schedules; communicate with Estate Manager and team.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in the industry :

Job Description

• • Diverse role covering projects such as sustainability certification and integration, Internet-of-Things projects, infrastructure planning, operation trials, and other projects which support the overall Estate Operation and Company direction
• • Project planning, management, and reporting
• • Liaising with key internal stakeholders (e.g. trainings, briefings) and with external parties (e.g. negotiations with vendors)
• • Research work to support any projects
• • Developing basic business case proposals (incl. cost assessment, budgeting, etc)
• • Developing presentation materials/ briefing documents, and provide support in presentations to external parties
• • Responsible for the overall project planning, implementation, and success of projects assigned
• • To assist in administrating and managing the Estate’s IT software (e.g. GPS tracking software):
  • o Deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of issues related to hardware and software
  • o Confirm and update operational parameters in software
  • o Provide training to users on hardware and software items
  • o Provide operation reports based on data obtained from the software for Estate Management Team
  • o Conduct monitoring and analysis on operations for productivity improvement, problem-solving, issue identification, time-motion study, and issue mitigation
  • o Generate and provide daily/ weekly/ monthly reports on operations as required
• • Proactive in identifying and rectifying any issues that may arise.
• • Plans and implements efficient work schedules to achieve goals and targets set by Headquarters, able to adapt plans due to unforeseen circumstances
• • Regularly communicates with Estate Manager, Estate Assistant Manager, supporting staff and workers

• Estate Location: Sabah and Sarawak regions

Requirements:

• • Candidate must possess a minimum of Diploma level of education; SKM holders can also apply
• • Preference for at least 2 years of working experience, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• • Candidates with experience in data analysis are encouraged to apply
• • Candidates must display strong leadership qualities, good analytical and problem solving skills; and are proactive, driven, and detail-orientated
• • Preferred Language: Bahasa Malaysia, and English
