Job summary

Aveta Global Marketing, Bukit Raja, Selangor, seeks a Spare Part Operation & Service Planning Manager to oversee spare parts operations, inventory management, forecasting, procurement coordination and after-sales service planning. You will ensure availability, optimize inventory, monitor demand and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support after-sales operations and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field and 10+ years in the automotive

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• Min. 10 years of working experience, preferably 10–15 years in the automotive industry.
• Strong experience in Spare Parts Operations is required.
• Experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement and after-sales operations.
• Experience in managing a team and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Strong knowledge of spare parts operations and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee spare parts operation and inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels, availability, movement and consumption.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for after-sales operations.
• Develop strategies to improve spare parts availability and efficiency.
• Analyze market trends, historical consumption and demand.

• Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.

The Spare Parts Operation & Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall spare parts operation, inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement coordination and after-sales service planning. The role will ensure adequate spare parts availability, optimize inventory levels, monitor market demand and coordinate with suppliers, service teams and internal stakeholders to support smooth after-sales operations and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overall spare parts operation and inventory management system
• Monitor spare parts stock levels, availability, movement and consumption
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained to support after-sales operations
• Develop and implement strategies to improve spare parts availability and inventory efficiency
• Analyze market trends, historical consumption and spare parts demand
• Prepare spare parts demand forecasts based on market requirements and business needs
• Coordinate spare parts procurement activities based on forecasted demand and inventory requirements
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of required parts
• Lead and coordinate planning activities related to after-sales services
• Lead, guide and monitor the Spare Parts Operations & Service Planning team

About you

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably 10–15 years in the automotive industry
• Strong experience specifically in Spare Parts Operations is required
• Experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement and after-sales operations
