Job summary

Changan Automobile is seeking a seasoned leader to establish and manage the spare parts business system in Malaysia. You will build the overall spare parts framework, coordinate with headquarters, dealers, and suppliers, and oversee warehousing, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely supply.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive spare parts in Malaysia, experience building a spare parts operation from the ground up, and strong cross-functional leadership with English and Malay proficiency.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in automotive spare parts in Malaysia.
• Experience in spare parts operations for NEV or ICE brands, with building a spare parts system from ground up.
• Strong cross-functional and stakeholder coordination with HQ, dealers, customers and industry bodies.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, collaborative with strong leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Service, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency in Malay and English; Chinese is a plus.

• Forecast spare parts demand, manage sales agreements, returns and exchanges.

• Responsible for spare parts warehousing operations, including warehouse setup, inventory management, and logistics management;
• Responsible for spare parts demand forecasting, sales agreements, returns and exchanges;
• Responsible for developing and implementing spare parts policies, including incentive and control mechanisms;
• Responsible for coordinating with headquarters, dealers, and local suppliers to ensure timely spare parts supply.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automotive spare parts in Malaysia;
• Experience in spare parts operations and management for NEV or ICE brands, with proven experience in building a spare parts business system from the ground up;
• Strong cross-functional and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with headquarters, local dealers, customers, and industry organizations;
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills;
• Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Service, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred;
• Proficient in both Malay and English as working languages; Chinese communication skills are a plus.
