Job summary

Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a spa therapist to deliver high-quality spa treatments and provide a warm, personalised guest experience at our Penang property. You will help meet daily treatment and retail targets while maintaining pristine spa conditions and equipment.

Ideal candidates will ensure guest satisfaction, adhere to safety and hygiene standards, and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering spa treatments according to standards.

• Ability to up-sell treatments and retail products while maintaining integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform spa treatments in accordance with established standards, ensuring consistency and high-quality service at every stage of their spa experience in accordance with the hotel's standards.
• Deliver spa treatments professionally and efficiently to meet guest preferences and hotel standards.
• Provide a warm, professional, and personalised guest experience throughout the spa journey.
• Support the achievement of daily sales targets for treatments and retail products.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene of treatment rooms throughout the day, and overall spa presentation at all times.
• Ensure spa equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Handle guest enquiries, consultations, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment of spa products and supplies.
• Learn and apply knowledge of spa packages, facilities, and equipment to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Promote spa services, packages, and ongoing promotions to guests.
• Participate in training programmes to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with all spa policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
