Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Spa Manager to lead the Spa & Wellness team, overseeing daily operations, staffing, and guest satisfaction. You’ll coordinate with department heads to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards across all wellness facilities.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in a supervisory role within spa or hospitality, strong knowledge of treatments, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

3–4 years in a supervisory or management role in spa or hospitality.
Strong knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with spa software and booking systems.
Genuine commitment to exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff and create schedules.
Manage day-to-day staffing requirements and provide mentoring and feedback.
Promote teamwork and coordinate with other department heads.
Prepare induction programmes for new staff.
Maintain current departmental standards and procedures.
Oversee annual Spa budget and financial plans.
Maintain inventory levels and manage costs for supplies and labour.
Contribute to spa revenue through pricing decisions and promotions.
Ensure wellness areas are clean and in good repair and respond to guest requests.
Lead Spa & Wellness operations to meet budget and guest satisfaction targets.
