Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a seasoned compliance professional to lead the SOX, statutory reporting, and secretarial teams across APAC. You will review quarterly SOX testing, respond to audit queries, and coordinate annual narratives with external auditors.

Ensure GAAP compliance and resolve accounting issues for APAC entities. The role involves collaboration with global teams, insurance coordination for APAC, and oversight of contract terms impacting finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in SOX compliance and statutory reporting preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the SOX Compliance, Statutory Reporting, and Secretarial team.
• Coordinating and performing preliminary reviews of periodic SOX audit testing.
• Facilitating responses to SOX audit queries and ensuring all queries are resolved.
• Supporting and coordinating the annual SOX control narrative update.
• Liaising with external auditors on annual statutory and SOX audits.
• Ensuring audited financial statements for APAC legal entities are prepared in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Researching and resolving accounting issues, including evaluating and implementing new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and local GAAP compliance.
• Reviewing legal contract terms and conditions, and analyzing their financial and accounting impact.
• Managing and coordinating the annual insurance renewal process for APAC
• Managing and coordinating company secretarial matters for APAC
