Job summary

Alcon in Selangor, Malaysia seeks a Senior Associate to lead statutory compliance and financial reporting for APAC manufacturing entities, mainly Malaysia and Singapore. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and global tax teams to ensure timely filings and audit readiness.

The role requires 3–5 years in external audit or statutory reporting, with SAP and Excel proficiency, and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA/CPA/CIMA desirable).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in external audit, statutory reporting, or tax/compliance.
• Experience with public accounting or audit firms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statutory compliance and tax filings with internal teams and external advisors.
• Prepare statutory financial accounts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy.
• Support audit readiness, tax audits, and transfer pricing documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC to ensure reporting timeliness.
