Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Lead the kitchen team during preparation and service
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
• Uphold excellent standards of hygiene and kitchen organisation
• Assist with menu development, recipe testing and food costing
• Manage stock rotation and reduce unnecessary food waste
• Train junior team members with patience and clear direction
• Take responsibility for the kitchen when required
• Work closely with the front-of-house and management teams
