Job summary

GE Vernova invites applications for an internship in the Sourcing Organization. You will support the sourcing team with project execution, assist the Procurement Managers, generate reports, collect data, and coordinate with team members and stakeholders. You will attend meetings as needed and help source items required by projects.

The internship period offers 6, 9, or 12 months, with office-based work requirements of at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited university.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work from the office at least 3 days per week throughout the internship.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing team with project execution.
• Support the Project Procurement Manager, Procurement Manager and sourcing team.
• Help with the generation of reports, collection of data, and coordinating with the other team members or stakeholders.
• Attend and participate in meetings when required.
• Help to contact third parties and suppliers as well as helping to source for items that is required by the project.
• Participate in GEV and sourcing-specific initiatives.
• Internship period: 6/9/12 months
