Randstad Malaysia is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for core electro‑mechanical and chiller commodities within a global manufacturing context. You will develop category strategies, negotiate favorable agreements, and drive risk‑mitigation plans to safeguard supply continuity.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree with extensive experience in manufacturing procurement, strong Mandarin communication, and familiarity with ERP and BI

Qualifications

• Possess a tertiary qualification in engineering, supply chain management, or a business‑related discipline.
• Significant experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, and custom contract negotiations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven capability in sourcing electro‑mechanical components, high‑power components, and customized mechanical standard parts.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively collaborate with regional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems and business intelligence tools.

• Lead commercial discussions to secure competitive pricing structures and negotiate customized agreements with manufacturing suppliers.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing roadmaps for key equipment parts and components.
• Manage short‑term and mid‑term risk mitigation plans to ensure business continuity across vital equipment categories.
• Guide and mentor a dedicated team of procurement professionals to cultivate a high‑performance culture
