Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a procurement professional responsible for BOM data review, supplier sourcing, and RFQ management to support new and bidding projects.

You will coordinate supplier audits with SQE, monitor supplier performance, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring ISO standards and safe, ethical operations.

This role involves cross-department collaboration and data accuracy in material planning to meet BOM cost targets and timely procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience with BOM data review and managing source materials per MPN
• Familiarity with ISO standards and adherence to procedures

Responsibilities

• Review all data in the entire BOM for source materials per MPN, Manufacturer, Description & Drawings.
• Prepare quote packages and monitor RFQ through process, documenting concerns and issues.
• Manage suppliers with high ethical, legal standards; ensure timely data entry and ASL setup.
• Plan, source and develop new suppliers at competitive price, quality and lead time.
• Coordinate supplier selection, qualification and audits with SQE; monitor supplier performance and SQPA reports.
• Drive cost reduction activities and participate in cost saving programs.
• Support inter-department interaction in Materials and other sections; ensure BOM cost targets.

Job description

Review all data in the entire BOM & responsible for source materials / components per MPN, Manufacturer, Description & Drawings.

Prepare quote package & monitor RFQ through process & documenting all concerns, discrepancies & issues for new/bidding project related.

Manage all suppliers in a manner consistent with the highest professional , ethical, moral & legal standards.

To plan, source & develop new potential suppliers at the competitive price, quality & lead time.

Managing& coordinating supplier selection and qualification & conducting Supplier Audit Program (SAP) together Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE).

Manage supplier performance, consolidate & maintain all suppliers performance & indicators. Prepare Supplier Quarterly Performance Assessment (SQPA) report.

Manage system data entry, ASL setup and ensure updates are accurate and timely.

Embark on cost reduction activities & participate in regular cost saving program.

Coordinate interaction between the section in the Material department & all other departments.

Supporting the organization by driving early supplier involvement, meeting bill of material cost targets via should cost analysis and sourcing timelines.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Perform risk management to minimize project risk.

Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
