Job summary

Oerlikon Group in Malaysia seeks a results-driven Sales Executive to drive growth for coating solutions across Cutting Tools, Forming Tools, and Precision Components. You will manage existing customers, win new business, and act as the technical and commercial liaison with local and global teams.

Responsibilities include visiting customers, presenting solutions, preparing quotations, and expanding our market presence while maintaining high standards of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy or Production Engineering.
• Proven track record in project and/or application sales.
• Class D driving licence with own car for business use.

Responsibilities

• Be single point of contact to sell coating solutions through visits, presentations, discussions, and negotiations.
• Sustain existing business and win new customers by creating sales opportunities.
• Act as technical sparring partner to solve customer problems and support quality claims.
• Document contacts in CRM, prepare visit reports and follow-up plans.
• Develop market knowledge to prepare and follow quotations.
• Coordinate with local/global technical teams, operations, and sales.
• Monitor competition and market to maintain market leadership.
• Participate in exhibitions and marketing projects.
