Job summary

REDtone Digital Berhad seeks a Solutions Architect - IoT & Smart Facilities to bridge business development and technical delivery. You will lead technical discovery, design end-to-end architectures for IoT, ICT, AI and smart facility solutions (iBMS, CAFM, CMMS), and craft robust proposals for enterprise and public-sector clients.

You will coordinate across Sales, Channel Partners, and Technical Operations to ensure feasible deployments, define SLAs, and support negotiations while tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Computer, Telecommunications), Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or solutions architecture, with a demonstrated record of closing enterprise technology deals.
• Practical familiarity with enterprise digital solutions, including IoT protocols/platforms, ICT infrastructure, AI applications, or facility management platforms (CAFM, CMMS, iBMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess client requirements; design end-to-end architectures integrating IoT sensors, connectivity, cloud platforms, AI analytics, and enterprise systems (CMMS/CAFM/iBMS).
• Partner with the Business Development team to craft robust technical proposals, scopes of work (SOW), bills of materials (BOM), and RFP/tender responses. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functionally between Sales, Channel Partners, and Technical Operations teams to validate feasibility, streamline handovers, and ensure high-integrity deployments.
• Support contract negotiations and commercial structuring by defining technical boundaries, SLAs, and implementation phases to protect project margins.
• Track competitive developments, emerging IoT standards, and industry needs (such as Smart Agriculture, Smart Cities, and Asset Management) to guide internal product strategy.
• Maintain pipeline tracking, compile monthly pre-sales performance reports, and manage technical risk assessments under the direction of the Sales Director.

Solutions Architect - IoT & Smart Facilities

The Solutions Architect / Pre-Sales Engineer serves as the critical technical and commercial bridge between the Business Development and Technical Delivery teams. In this role, you will lead the technical discovery, architecture design, and proposal formulation for enterprise-grade IoT, ICT, AI, and smart facility management solutions (iBMS, CAFM, CMMS). You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective enterprise and public-sector clients, translating complex operational challenges into scalable, commercially viable systems while ensuring smooth handoffs for deployment.

Key responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions to assess client requirements; design end-to-end architectures integrating IoT sensors, connectivity, cloud platforms, AI analytics, and enterprise systems (CMMS/CAFM/iBMS).

About you

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Computer, Telecommunications), Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or solutions architecture, with a demonstrated record of closing enterprise technology deals.

Practical familiarity with enterprise digital solutions, including IoT protocols/platforms, ICT infrastructure, AI applications, or facility management platforms (CAFM, CMMS, iBMS).

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages are an advantage.

Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively across Malaysia for on-site client assessments and industry events.

Prior exposure or established networks in the Smart Building/ Facilities or Industrial IoT sectors within Malaysia.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to articulate clear business ROI to non-technical executives.

Demonstrated agility in managing multiple enterprise tenders simultaneously within high-growth environments.
