Job summary

SOLAR SUNYIELD SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Engineer to support the execution of solar PV projects in Ipoh, Malaysia.

You will collect and verify site information to prepare BOM, BQ, and meet project requirements. You will coordinate logistics, supervise PV installation and construction activities, ensure works follow drawings and timelines, and conduct regular site inspections for workmanship and safety while maintaining quality documentation.

Responsibilities

Collect and verify site information to support BOM, BQ and project requirements.
Coordinate site logistics and material delivery for installation works.
Supervise and monitor Solar PV installation and construction activities on site.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site teams to ensure works follow project drawings and timelines.
Monitor daily site progress and ensure milestones, KPIs and deliverables are achieved.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and safety.
Carry out PV system quality control and inspection, including ITP, testing and commissioning.
Maintain safety procedures, ensure emergency equipment is available and site personnel attendance is recorded.
Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports to the Project Manager.
