Job summary

SUMMIT ENERGY RESOURCES SDN BHD is seeking a Solar PV Project Engineer to lead and coordinate projects from planning, installation, testing and commissioning through to completion at client sites in Malaysia.

You will manage site activities, contractors and project teams, ensure work meets drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements, monitor progress, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with clients and authorities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate solar PV projects from planning, installation, testing & commissioning through to project completion.
• Manage site activities, contractors, suppliers and project teams to ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and take appropriate corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Troubleshoot technical and site issues, investigate root causes and propose practical solutions independently.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, TNB, SEDA, ST and other relevant parties on technical and project-related matters.
• Review and verify technical drawings, PV system design, equipment selection and site installation.
• Prepare and review project documentation including progress reports, testing & commissioning records, as-built drawings and technical submissions.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant TNB, SEDA, ST, electrical, safety and project requirements.
• Able to work independently and willing to travel to project sites when required.
