Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Bhd is seeking a Civil 3D-proficient design engineer to support bid and project development for ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects. You will translate client SI reports and topographic surveys into site development packages, including grading, earthworks, drainage, and piling recommendations, feeding bids and detailed design.

This hands-on role sits at the intersection of civil design and geotechnical interpretation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D (surfaces, grading, volumes).
• Exposure to drainage design principles and stormwater calculations.
• Ability to read geotechnical/SI reports (SPT data, logs, groundwater).
• Familiarity with piling and foundation types is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration with senior engineers and clients.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic simulations and slope analysis to inform layout decisions.
• Assist earthworks, grading design, and cross-check volume take-offs.
• Support drainage and detention pond design tied to grading plan.
• Interpret SI data and map subsurface conditions for pile design input.
• Prepare bid drawings, technical write-ups, and coordinate with consultants.
