Job summary

Solartech is seeking installers to join our team in Malaysia. You will install, service and maintain solar water heating and solar PV systems at customer locations, perform commissioning, and troubleshoot issues to ensure safe, quality installations.

You will travel to sites as needed and work with colleagues to complete projects on time while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
• Possess a valid driving licence (GDL licence is an advantage).
• Physically fit and willing to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain solar water heating and solar PV systems at customer sites
• Carry out system commissioning works
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar installations and equipment
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Transport materials and equipment to project sites when required
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety practices at job sites
