Job summary

Sunway Marketing Sdn Bhd in Selangor invites applications for the position of Engineer - Technical (BESS, EMS & SOLUTION). The role provides technical support for solar PV projects from site assessment through commissioning and after-sales service.

The successful candidate will work with Sales, Project, and Operations teams, conducting design work, site surveys, and installation coordination to ensure compliant, cost-effective solar solutions across projects in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer would be an added advantage.
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience in solar PV or related technical/project environments; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good understanding of solar PV system design, electrical systems and renewable energy concepts.
• Experience with commercial and industrial solar projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solar PV System Design & Technical Assessment: conduct site surveys, determine feasibility and prepare designs.
• Technical support for Sales & Business Development: assist in proposals, configurations and cost estimates.
• Project & Installation Support: review drawings, coordinate with teams, inspect sites for compliance.
• Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting: support testing, verify performance, investigate faults.
• Continuous Improvement: stay updated on technologies and share knowledge with teams.
