Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Test Analyst for a 6-month contract in Kuala Lumpur to support the Transaction Banking Channels Development Team. You will manage test scope, create test cases, run manual tests, and log defects using HP ALM, ensuring on-time delivery and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience in UAT for BAU patches and projects.
• Banking industry exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Transaction Banking Channels Development Team across multiple system projects.
• Define testing scope and ensure QA quality throughout lifecycle.
• Create and review test cases and scenarios.
• Prepare test data for various testing phases.
• Develop and manage test scenarios and traceability matrices.
• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Log defects and track progress using HP ALM.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and PMs to clarify requirements.

Executive, Test Analyst (6 Months Contract)

• Assist the Transaction Banking Channels Development Team in managing a portfolio of system projects and initiatives, ranging from small to extra-large in scale
• Support project tracking, testing scope definition, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
• Create, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
• Prepare and manage test data for various testing phases
• Develop and manage test scenarios and traceability matrices to ensure full coverage of business and technical requirements
• Execute manual test cases and accurately document test results
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as HP ALM
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues
• Ensure timely delivery of testing activities in line with project timelines and quality standards

Job Requirements

• Candidate with at least 3-7 years of working experience in software quality assurance/software testing/Test Management.
• Preferably having Transaction Banking and cash management knowledge
• Preferably having hands on experience in banking industry and project management.
• Experience in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches/ enhancement/ project.
• Detail oriented, highly analytical, willing to learn and committed.
• Able to highlight and elevate for the issues that impacting testing progress.
• Able to understand interdependencies and effect on critical paths.
• Self-starter, "can-do" attitude, customer centric mindset, highly adaptable and can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
