Job summary

Merimen is seeking a Software Tester to ensure quality and reliability across applications. Fresh graduates with a passion for software testing are encouraged to apply.

The role involves manual and automated testing, maintaining test records, and contributing to product documentation. You will collaborate with developers and business analysts, adapt new testing approaches, and perform various testing types to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.
• Experience in manual and automated testing desirable.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform spontaneous and regular application testing to maintain quality.
• Create and maintain systematic test records.
• Assist in writing product documentation and guidelines.
• Adopt new testing technologies and approaches.
• Collaborate with developers and Business Analysts to identify issues on new features.
• Carry out Functional, Regression, and System Integration testing as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Lead.

Job description

As a Software Tester, ensuring the quality and reliability of applications will be a key area of your job. If you're someone who enjoys identifying issues, testing applications, maintaining detailed test records, and continuously improving product quality, we would love to have you join us! Fresh graduates with a passion for software testing and quality assurance are encouraged to apply.

What you will do

• Perform spontaneous/ regular application testing on the products and services to maintain the quality.
• Create and maintain test records in a systematic and well-mannered way.
• Help in writing documentations and guidelines for the products and services.
• Adapt new technologies and approaches to test the applications.
• Work closely with software developers and Business Analyst to test and identify issues on new development and enhancements.
• Perform different type of testing activities (Functional Test, Regression Test, System Integration Test) according to the requirements.
• Any other duties as instructed by the Team Lead.

What you will need

• Preferably possess Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or any related discipline in IT
• Knowledge of Website Development
• Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• The ability to work in a team and individually
• Able to work in fast paced and challenging environment
• Experiences in manual and automated testing (Functional Test, Regression Test, System Integration Test, Performance Test).
• A keen interest to learn!
• Willing to work at Serdang, Selangor.
