Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee a group of software engineers and end-to-end projects. You will guide the team to align with company goals, mentor staff, and advance efficiencies through best practices.

You will manage budgets, manpower, and compliance, work closely with customers and partners, and travel as required. A strong background in CS or Mechatronics and automation systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 8+ years of software engineering experience with machine automation knowledge.
• Expertise in customized automation, pick and place, measurement, robotic and control systems.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with customers and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group of software engineers and the projects allocated to the team.
• Drive the team toward company goals and strategic interests.
• Mentor, train, and grow the core team and promote efficiency through best practices.
• Organize staff, assign work, and deliver training to achieve project objectives and growth.
• Chair or participate in project reviews, development, deployment, discussions, and concept stages.
• Identify risks, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, manpower, and compliance to requirements; ensure safe and compliant operations.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and business partners; travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to ISO standards and SOPs.

Job description

Oversee group of software engineers in the company.

Oversee entire project allocated to the team.

Drive the team of engineers toward and in line with company goal and interest.

Contributes and grows the core team by accomplishing desired results as needed and drive team efficiencies through best practices and mentoring.

Organize staff and create work assignments and training that achieve both project objectives and promote both individual and team growth and development.

Chairs/participates in project review, development, deployment, discussion & conceptual stage.

Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Execute programs/project through proper management of budget, management of manpower and compliance to requirement and needs.

Maintain effective communication with customer and business partner.

Applicants must be willing to travel.

Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferably 8 year(s) & above of experience in software engineering & knowledge in machine automation field.

Expertise in customize automation, pick and place, measurement, robotic and control system.

Good interpersonal communication skill & negotiation skills with customer and business partner.
