Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Payment testing) to ensure product quality across web and mobile applications. You will develop and execute test cases based on functional specs and collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/Software Engineering and at least 1 year of QA experience, with familiarity in Jira or TestRail and basic SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on QA/testing experience.
• Familiar with QA methodologies, SDLC, and tools like Jira/TestRail.
• Basic SQL knowledge; API testing with tools like Postman is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and collaborative.

Responsibilities

Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Payment testing）

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and test objectives.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Conduct regression testing and assist in system integration testing as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation standards.
• Share QA knowledge, tools, and best practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Familiar with QA methodologies, SDLC, and tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic understanding of SQL, API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Required languages: English and Mandarin (Fluent in both written and spoken) for direct communication with China-based clients.
