Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a Quality Engineer Tester with 5–7 years of experience to join the Software Engineering team in Malaysia. You will ensure software quality through test planning, execution, defect management and automation development in an Agile environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Postman, and JIRA, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Software Testing / Quality Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing across web and mobile apps.
• Strong expertise with Selenium and Appium, plus API testing with Postman.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
• Execute manual test cases, identify defects, and ensure coverage across features.
• Perform API testing with Postman and manage defects via JIRA.
• Own end-to-end defect lifecycle and contribute to automation framework improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners to ensure quality deliverables.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous quality improvement.
