Job summary

Synergy Alliance Solutions is a Malaysia-based software firm seeking a QA tester in Ipoh to perform manual and automated testing across e-Commerce platforms, websites, and mobile apps. You will design test plans, establish a test framework, and track defects with a bug-tracking system while collaborating with developers, analysts, and end-users to ensure quality and proper localization.

Experience with QA methodologies and SQL queries is a plus; strong communication skills are essential.

Job description

Software testing of e-Commerce, commercial websites, android and ios app.

Prepare and set up a test framework and environment.

Participate in software design reviews and walk-throughs.

Work with the end-user and business analysts to understand functional and design specifications of new features and services.

Work with the development team to develop unit tests, integration tests, system tests, usability tests, security tests, stress tests and regression tests.

Design and execution of test plans.

Track and manage software defects using a bug-tracking system.

Quality assurance of the software functionality, performance, security, language translations and localizations.

Able to perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Knowledge of QA methodologies is essential.

Good understanding of the defect life cycle.

Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skill

Required language(s): English. Malay, Mandarin is an advantage

Experience with both manual testing and automated testing.

Development knowledge with either PHP, XCode (iOS), Kotlin (Android) is an advantage.

Ability to write and execute SQL queries is an advantage.

Ability to lead junior testers is an advantage.
