Job summary

Synergy Alliance Solutions is a Malaysia-based software firm seeking a QA tester in Ipoh to perform manual and automated testing across e-Commerce platforms, websites, and mobile apps. You will design test plans, establish a test framework, and track defects with a bug-tracking system while collaborating with developers, analysts, and end-users to ensure quality and proper localization.

Experience with QA methodologies and SQL queries is a plus; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

: Degree or Diploma in CS/IT required.
+: Knowledge of QA methodologies essential.
+: Good understanding of the defect life cycle.
+: Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
+: Experience with manual and automated testing.
+: Development knowledge in PHP, XCode (iOS), Kotlin (Android) is an advantage.
+: Ability to write and execute SQL queries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

: Perform software testing across e-Commerce, commercial websites, and android/ios apps.
: Prepare and set up a test framework and environment.
: Participate in design reviews and walkthroughs.
: Collaborate with end-users and business analysts to understand specs.
: Develop unit, integration, system, usability, security, stress, and regression tests.
: Design and execute test plans.
: Track and manage defects using a bug-tracking system.
: Ensure QA of functionality, performance, security, localization.
: Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
