Job summary

Tec D Malaysia is seeking a Software Test Engineer to independently develop ERP system test plans, design and execute test cases, and conduct a full suite of testing types including functional, performance, security, and compatibility tests.

The role requires experience with automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Appium), API testing, and data management for testing tools. Familiarity with CI/CD is a plus in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, or related fields.
• 1+ years of experience in software testing or automated test script.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years of experience in software testing or automated test script.

Technical Skills

• Familiar with software testing methods, tools, and processes, with experience in test case design.
• Use AI-assisted tools and solutions across the software testing lifecycle to significantly improve delivery efficiency.
• Use AI-assisted tools maintain and optimize automated testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Robot Framework) to improve test stability and reusability.
• Perform API, performance, security, and compatibility testing; analyze findings and isolate root causes.
• Contribute to test data construction and management to support AI model validation and regression testing.
• Proficient in interface testing and automation testing tools and framework ects (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Postman, JMeter).
• Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) with basic database knowledge.

Personal Skills

• Able to work independently, adept at summarizing, and possess strong documentation skills.
• Strong observation and analytical skills, with hands‑on capabilities and a proactive approach to technical research.

Communication Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, can spoke Mandarin. (required for cross-border team collaboration).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plus. Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, and data analytics systems.
