Job summary

Chenbro (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is expanding its new Senai Airport City plant in Johor to support global customers with innovative IT and data center solutions.

The role involves analyzing requirement specs, building small-scale modules, and maintaining systems across MES and IoT integrations. You will deploy code, participate in factory-site implementations, and provide rapid production-line support. A strong background in C#, Angular, SQL, and RESTful APIs is required, with hands-on MES

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 2+ years software dev or system support experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Angular and SQL.
• Experience integrating systems via RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on MES development and maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in front-end and back-end development.
• IoT data integration experience.
• Familiar with manufacturing plant operations.

Job description

Understand and analyze requirement specifications for assigned projects or modules, and develop small-scale functional modules based on the overall system architecture and team development standards. Ensure timely and quality delivery of assigned tasks.

Provide maintenance and support for existing systems, including issue resolution, optimization, and enhancement.

Perform system deployment and version release in accordance with development standards, and refine code based on senior team members’ code review to ensure code quality and architectural compliance.

Participate in system implementation and enhancement projects at the factory site.

Provide immediate support to production lines in handling system abnormalities or operational issues.

Gather and report on-site requirements or system issues, and collaborate with the development team to design and implement effective solutions.

Job Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Studies, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in software development or system support.

Proficiency in relevant programming languages based on assigned systems, such as C#, Angular, and SQL.

Strong logical thinking and good communication skills.

Ability to integrate systems and exchange data using RESTful APIs.

Familiar with GitLab or similar version control tools.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Familiar with manufacturing factory operations, with hands‑on experience in MES system development and maintenance.

Minimum 3 years of experience in both front‑end and back‑end system development.

Minimum 3 years of experience in IoT device data integration and system development.
