Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, etc. or equivalent, or 5–8 years in related fields preferred.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and server roles.
• Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Citrix or other remote app delivery is an advantage.

He/she will perform highly visible on-site and remote software installations and upgrades of all Varian software products, which include troubleshooting and diagnosis as needed.

• You will work with physical and virtual environments, operating systems, databases and other software and networking technologies.
• You will review scope of work for assigned tasks to ensure all hardware and software components are available.
• You will complete all necessary task documentation to meet Varian’s Quality processes and procedures.
• You will maintain customer system inventories using Keystone or or equivalent.
• You will keep current on Varian products and technologies through both internal and external training and certification.
• You will collaborate with project management, software planning, local service, hardware installation, and remote software deployment teams to ensure successful project execution and deliver World Class Customer Service.
• You will demonstrate equipment operation and specifications according to the Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP).
• You will perform installation readiness reviews of customer IT infrastructure and project plans to confirm key prerequisites are in place and identify any potential issues requiring further assessment.
• You may be required to facilitate training and mentoring of new Installation Representatives.
• You will coordinate with subject matter experts as required to support installation and upgrade activities.
• You require minimum supervision.

Specific Functions Or Duties

• You will perform software installation and upgrade activities on small to medium-sized projects, working closely with project and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
• You will input detailed records of installation and upgrade work performed into company information systems to ensure accurate updated customer installation information is available to other functions.
• You will maintain a high degree of professionalism and safety according to company guidelines and customer regulations in order to perform activities under the safest working conditions.
• You will report by means of daily report, work order, timecard, expense reports, etc. regularly and in a timely fashion to ensure that accurate company statistical data on customer-oriented activities is available.
• You will complete all required installation documentation that pertains to the job being completed and update all requested and/or required data for tracking purposes as per the applicable Varian’s Quality processes and procedures.
• You will use prescribed problem-resolution escalation procedures and request technical assistance, when necessary, in a timely manner.
• You will provide feedback on products and documentation to improve installation processes
• You will train, mentor, and advise new and less experienced Installation Representatives in all aspects of the job. Provides feedback on performance of Installation Representatives to incumbents and management.
• You will travel up to 75% of the time across ASEAN and Korea as needed.

Minimum Required Skills And Knowledge

• You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, etc. or equivalent, or at least 5-8 years of experience in related fields, such as healthcare, medical or hospital environment, which is preferred.
• You have hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V. Relevant certifications are an advantage.
• You have experience administering Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and common server roles and features.
• You possess a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, firewall concepts, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
• You are able to diagnose and resolve common network and system communication issues using standard troubleshooting methodologies and tools.

Experience with Citrix or other remote application delivery and virtualization platforms is an advantage.

• You have sound professional technical experience with system software and excellent debugging skills.
• You possess a valid passport and are able to travel internationally on short notice within ASEAN, Korea, and other countries as required.
• You are highly organized with detailed planning skills.
• You have a customer‑focused attitude.
• You are articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication.
• You are proficient in the local language (Thai, Bahasa Malaysia) and in English, both written and spoken.
