SMARTMONETA TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join its growing technology team in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers development, maintenance, and improvement of web applications, with emphasis on clean code and collaboration.

Ideal candidates are juniors to mid-level with knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and SQL. You will participate in design, reviews, and client-facing projects while growing technical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of software development experience are welcome.
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to project needs.

Responsibilities

Software Engineer / Software Developer (Junior – Mid Level)

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineer / Software Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be involved in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications, working closely with team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using MVC architecture.

Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

Work with MS SQL Server for database design, queries, and optimization.

Use Git for version control and maintain proper code documentation.

Support ongoing system improvements and address clients or internal technical challenges.

About you
