Job summary

ZALORA Malaysia is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II to join our dynamic development team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a passion for building robust and scalable applications, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications with PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and Livewire, plus automation work using UiPath, n8n, and Workato.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Proven experience as a web developer with PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and Livewire
• Knowledge or experience with automation tools such as Google Apps Scripts or Python scripting
• Solid understanding and experience with SQL databases, specifically MySQL
• Demonstrated ability to consume 3rd party APIs and integrate with external libraries and services
• Proficiency with Git for version control, Linux environments, and shell scripting
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and Livewire
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using tools such as UiPath, n8n, and Workato
• Collaborate with users and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with SQL databases, particularly MySQL, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Integrate with 3rd party APIs and external libraries/services to enhance functionality
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance and best practices
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements :
