We are global manufacturer of optical inspection, measurement and automated handling equipment. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support software solutions for semiconductor industrial automation and manufacturing environments.
The successful candidate will be involved in software application development, database design, equipment integration, industrial communication (SECS/GEM), automation systems (AMHS), robotics, and factory software solutions (MES & MCS Middleware applications).
The role requires strong software engineering capabilities, with the ability to work closely with automation, electrical, mechanical, process, and IT teams to develop reliable and scalable solutions for production equipment and factory systems.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis and system design to deployment and maintenance.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for industrial and manufacturing environments in C# (.NET, WPF).
Develop modular, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
Develop desktop, server, and service-based applications according to project requirements.
Develop software modules for machine control, equipment monitoring, production management, and factory automation.
Develop user interfaces, control panels, dashboards, and monitoring applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and maintain existing software applications.
Perform software testing, integration testing, and system-level validation.
Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for software and manufacturing applications (Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite).
Develop database schemas, tables, stored procedures, views, and queries.
Optimize database performance, reliability, and scalability.
Implement data logging, production history, equipment records, traceability, and audit trail functions.
Develop data backup, recovery, and data integrity mechanisms.
Integrate software applications with databases and external data systems.
Develop software for automated machinery and production equipment.
Interface software applications with PLC-controlled systems, motion controllers, robots, and industrial devices.
Develop machine control logic, sequence control, interlocks, and equipment state management.
Integrate sensors, actuators, barcode readers, vision systems, motors, and other industrial devices.
Support automation systems involving robots, conveyors, material handling systems, and automated inspection equipment.
Work closely with automation and electrical engineers during machine integration and commissioning.
Support machine debugging, system testing, installation, and production deployment.
Develop software solutions for factory automation and manufacturing operations.
Develop material handling and transportation software for AMR/AGV and automated equipment.
Develop production monitoring, equipment monitoring, and manufacturing data collection systems.
Implement equipment traceability and production tracking functions.
Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics for manufacturing operations.
Support integration between production equipment, factory systems, databases, and higher-level applications.
Support manufacturing initiatives involving Industry 4.0, OEE, SPC, equipment performance, and production analytics.
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic/Mechatronic/Robotic/Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Semiconductor/Automation industry is an added advantage. Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Candidate enjoys working with hardware and industrial equipment.
Able to design, develop, and implement complex systems independently.
Must have basic programming skills in C#.
Candidate with a strong interest in analytical thinking and programming
Possess own transport and willing to travel local/outstation if necessary.
