Job summary

Kaifa Technology Malaysia, a PCB/electronics manufacturer in Penang, seeks a skilled Process Engineer to lead PCBA process flow design, document control and continuous improvement. You will drive PFMEA, capacity planning and cost optimization while ensuring quality across production lines.

The role requires 3+ years in EMS PCBA manufacturing, strong knowledge of production, quality management and process technologies, and familiarity with ISO/TL audits.

Responsibilities

• Formulate PCBA process flow, create process documents and optimize processes.
• Oversee HPU, PFMEA, capacity, and continuous improvement of PCBA products.
• Analyze PCBA production anomalies and optimize yield.
• Evaluate manpower, tooling, fixtures and production costs for new products.
• Evaluate PCBA material consumption and process costs.
• Prepare for internal and customer audits; review required documents.
• Introduce new processes and provide process technology training.
• Recruit new employees for PCBA operations.

Job description

• Responsible for the formulation of PCBA process flow, process document production and process optimization;
• Responsible for HPU, PFMEA, production capacity, process evaluation and continuous improvement of PCBA products;
• Responsible for the analysis of PCBA product production anomalies and exception handling, and continuously improve the yield;
• Responsible for the evaluation of manpower for new PCBA products, the evaluation of tooling and fixtures required for new products, the provision of production costs for product quotations, the formulation of new product processes and the evaluation of DFM design;
• Responsible for the evaluation of PCBA section material and the evaluation of material consumption;
• Participate in the company's system audit/product customer audit, and complete the preparation and review of documents required for the audit;
• Responsible for the evaluation of new processes and the introduction of new processes;
• Responsible for process technology training and new employee recruitment

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process technology of EMS electronic manufacturing enterprises, familiar with the management process of PCBA manufacturing business department; Professional knowledge of production management, product management, quality management, PCBA, etc.; Proficient in various PCBA production equipment, process technology knowledge;
• Familiar with the operation and process of PCBA engineering department, good at process flow and efficiency management, proficient in all aspects of production and manufacturing; Familiar with production cost control, overall operation, familiar with production operation process and process regulations.
• Familiar with the audit operation of ISO9000/TL9000/ISO14000/ISO13485/OHSAS18000/IATF16949 and other management systems.
