Job summary

Maybank is seeking an SME Banking professional to source new SME customers for loans with exposure up to RM20m and to grow the SME portfolio in Selangor. The role involves conducting KYC, credit analysis, and maintaining asset quality while driving revenue through cross-selling insurance and Commercial Cards.

You will engage with customers, branches and stakeholders to build strong relationships and contribute to the bank's SME portfolio growth in the local community.

Qualifications

• KYC and due diligence on markets and credit analysis
• Ability to analyse credit risk and asset quality parameters
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Experience in cross-selling insurance and commercial cards is a plus
• Campaign participation to promote SME products and revenue growth

Responsibilities

• Sourcing for new SME customers under SME segment for loan with exposure up to RM20m.
• Grow the SME portfolio (exposure up to RM20m) in SME Banking, contributing to the Sector’s revenue growth.
• Active participation in campaign activities to promote SME products and to build and maintain good rapport with customers, branches, and stakeholders.
• Drive fee-based income from cross selling Insurance and Commercial Cards through product bundling.
• Conduct Know-Your-Customer (KYC), due diligence on market & credit analysis and adhere to asset quality parameters.
• Responsible for quality processing of loan applications within stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Foster positive relationship with customers and initiate regular visits to establish better rapport.
• Continuously establish and enhance relationships with local communities in/within the business areas.
