Job summary

Getha Bedding (M) Sdn. Bhd. operates a showroom in Penang, seeking a Retail Sales Executive to deliver exceptional customer service and actively promote and sell its bedding products.

You will understand customer needs, demonstrate products, handle inquiries, and follow up to close sales while maintaining showroom standards. The role requires strong communication, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and responsible attitude.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays according to the showroom schedule.
• Willing to learn and able to work towards sales targets.
• Sales or retail experience is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in mattress, furniture, bedding or retail sales is an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in the showroom in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customers' needs, preferences and budget to recommend suitable mattresses, bedframes, pillows and other bedding products.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain product features, benefits, promotions and warranty information.
• Handle customer enquiries and provide accurate product information.
• Follow up with customers through phone, WhatsApp or other communication channels to close sales.
• Achieve individual monthly sales targets and contribute to showroom sales performance.
• Maintain good knowledge of all company products, including mattress specifications, materials, firmness, features and benefits.
• Prepare quotations, sales orders and other required sales documents accurately.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, product display and overall presentation according to company standards.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers and handle feedback professionally.
