Job summary

PHLETORA SDN. BHD. is seeking a youthful Skincare Trainer to lead product training for salon owners in Malaysia. You will learn our brands, highlight ingredients and USP, and deliver impactful demonstrations, with guidance from the Senior Trainer and opportunities to work independently.

Ideal candidates can translate materials into Mandarin, are fluent in Mandarin and English, and are eager to learn. Travel for seminars should be expected, and strong MS Word/PowerPoint skills are required.

Qualifications

• Salon experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant beauty qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Results-oriented in skin care product demonstrations and theory.
• Able to travel for seminars and training.
• Willing to learn ingredients and skincare products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product training sessions at salons and seminar venues (Mandarin-speaking audience).
• Translate training materials into Mandarin.
• Learn skincare products and ingredients and perform professional treatments for effective results.
• Perform skincare product and machine demonstrations and provide professional feedback.
• Support product launch events and seminars.
• Provide after-sales technical support to salon owners.

About the role

Phletora Sdn. Bhd. is a professional skincare distributor representing premium international brands, serving salon owners across Malaysia. We are seeking a young, energetic Skincare Trainer with good skincare knowledge and a passion for training. This role focuses on mastering our products and treatments, identifying their unique selling points (USP), highlighting the ingredients, and delivering impactful training and demonstrations to salon owners.

The Trainer will work closely with and receive guidance from our Senior Trainer, while also developing the ability to handle assigned responsibilities independently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product training sessions at salons and seminar venues (Mandarin-speaking audience)
• Translate training materials into Mandarin.
• Learn and understand skincare products and ingredients, and with the ability to perform professional treatments and deliver effective results.
• Perform skincare product demonstrations, machine demonstrations and professional beauty treatments, with the aim of achieving good results and provide professional feedback.
• Support product launch eventsand seminars.
• Provide after-sales technical support in both products and machine use to salon owners.

About you

• Salon working experience is an advantage. Fresh graduates with relevant beauty qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
• Results-oriented in skin care products and machine demonstrations, both in theory and practical application.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken & written) - able to conduct a full seminar in Mandarin
• Passionate about learning, studying ingredients and skincare products.
• Able to communicate and work closely with the Senior Trainer, while also being capable of working independently.
• Energetic, proactive and eager to learn.
• Able to travel outstation for seminars and training
• Computer literate. Well-versed, especially in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Beauty Diploma / SKM / CIDESCO / CIBTAC is a plus
