Job summary

MBSB Bank Berhad is seeking a senior leader to own and advance the Group’s Enterprise Skills Architecture and taxonomy, turning skills data into actionable workforce insight. You will lead the Capability Centre, govern evaluation methodologies, and surface strategic skill risks to management and the Board.

Responsibilities include modelling workforce demand, producing build/buy/borrow recommendations, and embedding skills into processes while aligning with job architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics or related field.
• Postgraduate or professional qualification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Skills Architecture and Taxonomy

• Own the Enterprise Skills Architecture and taxonomy.
• Set architecture design standards and principles.
• Maintain role skill profiles and proficiency levels.
• Govern taxonomy additions, changes and removals.

Assessment and Calibration

• Own the enterprise capability assessment methodology.
• Run the Group capability assessment cycle.
• Ensure assessment outcomes are fair and defensible.
• Support calibration against capability evidence.
• Model workforce demand, supply and gaps.
• Produce build, buy or borrow recommendations.
• Deliver capability analytics and dashboards.
• Surface strategic skill risks to management.

Enablement and Systems

• Lead and enable Business Skills Owners.
• Own the talent and skills management system.
• Embed skills into people and business processes.
• Align skills architecture with job architecture.

Governance and Reporting

• Support the Talent Council on capability decisions.
• Report capability outcomes to management and Board.
• Advise the GCPO on skills and capability.
• Ensure audit ready capability governance.

Leadership

• Lead and develop the Skills Architecture team.
• Partner Divisions as a capability advisor.
• Represent the Group on skills externally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics or related field.
• Postgraduate or professional qualification is preferred.

Nature of Experience

• Minimum twelve years in capability, skills or workforce planning.
• Proven ownership of a skills or competency framework.
• Banking or regulated industry experience is essential.
• Leadership and enterprise programme experience is required.
