Job summary

Vector Infotech - Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor is seeking a site technician to perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance at project sites. Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works at project sites.
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of technical issues.
• Assist Project Engineers and Site Supervisors in daily site activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel as needed.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Report site issues, delays, defects, or material requirements to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the work area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works at project sites
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of technical issues
• Assist Project Engineers and Site Supervisors in daily site activities
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are carried out according to project requirements
• Ensure proper handling, installation, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
• Update progress to Engineer on a daily basis
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel when required
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and company procedures
• Report any site issues, delays, defects, or material requirements to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the work area

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Previous experience in construction, M&E, ICT, ELV, or technical project works is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of installation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical equipment
• Able to read basic drawings, layouts, and technical documents
• Able to work at project sites and under minimum supervision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to travel or work at different project locations when required
• Must be safety-conscious and responsible
