As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements, mapping, and assessments of land and properties. This position is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our surveying projects, which directly supports the success of our construction and development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive land surveys using modern surveying equipment and technology to establish precise measurements and boundary demarcations

Produce detailed survey plans, maps, and technical drawings in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Collect and analyse field data, including topographical information, boundary lines, and existing structures

Verify property boundaries and prepare documentation required for property transactions and legal purposes

Collaborate with engineers, and construction teams to provide surveying support for development projects

Maintain accurate records of survey data and ensure proper documentation of all measurements and findings

Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential surveying challenges and develop appropriate solutions

Ensure compliance with surveying standards, regulations, and best practices throughout all projects

Operate and maintain surveying instruments and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly

Prepare reports and present findings to clients, project managers, and relevant stakeholders

About you

Relevant diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry

Strong proficiency with surveying equipment

Competence in surveying software and CAD applications for producing plans and technical drawings

Excellent understanding of surveying principles, measurements, and mapping techniques

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
