Job summary

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 2–5 years of site supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Experience supervising site workers, subcontractors, and daily construction activities.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, quality control, and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively.
• Willingness to work at project sites, travel when required, and relocate, especially to Sabah and Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and other site stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure construction activities comply with applicable standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues or defects for timely rectification.
• Ensure all workers comply with site safety regulations, procedures, and requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, the Project Manager, and relevant departments on site progress and work arrangements.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other relevant documentation.
• Monitor the use of construction materials, equipment, and manpower at the project site.
• Report site issues, delays, risks, and work progress to the Project Manager or superior.
• Ensure the site is properly maintained, clean, organised, and ready for ongoing work.
• Assist in resolving site-related problems to keep construction activities progressing efficiently.
