Job summary

LTC WEST GATE SDN. BHD. is seeking a responsible Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee daily site works in Sarawak. The role requires ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and safety procedures while coordinating subcontractors and liaising with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and reading-drawings skills. Travel within Sarawak is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field (road works, guardrail, or civil construction preferred).
• Aggressive, responsible, and good interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, basic email/reporting).
• Able to read drawings and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel and work within Sarawak State.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and control daily construction works on site.
• Conduct daily site briefing before the team departs to review work plan, daily targets, and task allocation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions.
• Coordinate, monitor, and manage all subcontract works including preparation of necessary documents required.
• Liaise with clients and site personnel on project-related issues.
• Arrange joint measurement with client representatives when necessary.
• Ensure work confirmation sheets are signed after work completion at site.
• Prepare daily site reports and update progress to Site Manager.
• Monitor material usage, tools, and equipment at site.
