Job summary

OIB Group in Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor to ensure housing and industrial construction projects run on schedule. You will supervise contractors and subcontractors, review progress, and verify materials and labour against plans.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Building/Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, with at least two years of site experience, solid knowledge of building codes, safety regs, and the ability to read construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Building / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
• 2 years of experience in housing / industrial.
• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Able to study and familiar with construction drawings.
• Highly organized and able to plan ahead.
• Understanding the construction process.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working collaboratively with contractors to ensure that construction is carried out on schedule.
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
• Oversee construction progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Site works, materials, labours & machineries verification, monitoring & supervision.
• Resolve site problems that may arise
