Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect architectural works (wet trades, tiling, plastering, painting, ceilings, external works).
• Coordinate subcontractors to follow drawings, specs and method statements.
• Check discrepancies between architectural, structural and MEP drawings and report issues.
• Ensure materials are stored and handled properly and protect finishes on site.
• Ensure QMS procedures are followed at site.
• Report non-conformance and follow up rectifications.
• Inspect delivered materials against specs and samples.
• Ensure subcontractors use approved materials by consultant.
• Submit daily site reports.
• Enforce safety measures at site.
• Carry out additional tasks as required by supervisor.

Job Purpose

To assist the Senior Project / Site Engineer in supervising architectural works at the project site, ensuring that all finishes, installations, and building works comply with the design intent, contract specifications, and quality and safety requirements (including QLASSIC requirements).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect daily architectural works such as wet trades, tiling, plastering, painting, ceiling, and external works.
• Monitor and coordinate sub-contractors to ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Check for discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and report issues to the Site Engineer.
• Ensure building materials and finishes are properly handled, stored, and protected at site.
• Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) procedures are followed at site.
• Report non-conformance in workmanship or materials to the Site Engineer and follow up on rectification works.
• Receive, inspect, and verify architectural materials delivered against approved specifications and samples.
• Ensure subcontractors use only approved materials by the consultant.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports.
• Ensure all safety measures are implemented and followed at site.
• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Building Technology, or Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Experience

• Senior Site Supervisor: At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in building construction, specifically in architectural finishes and coordination.
• Site Supervisor: At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience.

Required Skills

• MS Office, AutoCAD and Primavera. Able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
