Job summary

Oriental Sunrise Engineering Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is safe, efficient, and in line with drawings, specs, and programmes.

You will coordinate site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, plan activities, monitor progress, and report outcomes to the Project Manager. The role requires reading drawings, understanding procedures, and maintaining quality and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as Site Supervisor in construction projects.
• Minimum 2–5 years site experience preferred.
• Experience in civil, infrastructure, building, road, drainage, water works is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with construction methods, site procedures, and basic quality and safety requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Willing to work at construction sites, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required by project requirements.
• Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the assigned site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Allocate daily work activities to workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, machinery, equipment, and material requirements.
• Ensure construction activities follow the approved work programme.
• Identify site issues, delays, defects, and report them promptly to the Project Manager / Site Manager.
• Coordinate different trades and activities to avoid conflicts and delays.
• Ensure workmanship and construction activities meet the required quality standards.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with site safety rules.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of workers and subcontractors.

Job description

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities at the project site to ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, work programmes, quality requirements, and project instructions. The Site Supervisor shall coordinate site workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant project personnel and ensure that site activities are properly planned, monitored, and reported.

Key responsibilities

About you
