Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading data center construction and engineering company to hire a Safety Supervisor (Yellowbook) based at the project site in Banting or Kapar, Klang. You will own site safety, ensure EHS compliance, and promote a robust safety culture across all activities.

With a minimum of 2 years in construction site safety, DOSH Yellow Book certification, and first aid training, you will work with site management and subcontractors to drive safety excellence on

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, certificate, or diploma in OSH, construction, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of construction site safety experience.
• Valid DOSH Yellow Book certification and first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure EHS compliance and PPE use.
• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and support risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Monitor high-risk activities including hot work, lifting, confined space and electrical work.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings, promoting site-wide safety awareness.
• Report incidents and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors on safety matters.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and support risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Monitor high-risk activities including hot work, lifting, confined space, and electrical work.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and promote site-wide safety awareness.
• Report incidents, assist investigations, and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors on safety matters.

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, certificate, or diploma in OSH, construction, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of construction site safety experience.
• Valid DOSH Yellow Book certification.
• First aid certification.
• Experience in data center, industrial, or fast-track projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with Malaysian occupational safety regulations, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and contractor safety management.
• Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, and safety audits.
• Please state your preferred working location, either in Klang or Banting
