Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading data centre construction and engineering company to hire a Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) to support large-scale data centre projects in Kapar (Klang) or Banting, Selangor, Malaysia. The role requires a Green/Yellow Book and strong English communication on site.

You will implement HSE policies, conduct inspections, monitor contractors, investigate incidents, and deliver toolbox talks to promote a safety culture across the project sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in construction, MEP, EPC, industrial, infrastructure, or data center projects.
• Green Book (RSHO) or Yellow Book certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Malaysian safety regulations, risk assessments, permit-to-work, and contractor safety management.
• Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, and safety audits.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English on a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and enforcement of HSE policies across construction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments for compliance.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors for safe work practices and site safety standards.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions, maintaining safety records.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training to promote a strong safety culture.
