Job summary

LF LANSEN SDN BHD is looking for a Site Safety Supervisor to safeguard workers and ensure environmental and safety compliance across Cyberjaya project sites. The role requires implementing safety standards, conducting audits, and coordinating with management and authorities.

You will lead inductions, investigations and training, while maintaining accurate records and reporting. This position emphasizes proactive safety improvements and strict adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Recognised Site Safety Supervisor qualification or equivalent certification in occupational health and safety.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site safety supervision or health and safety management roles.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction safety regulations, standards and best practices.
• Proven experience in hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate personnel at all levels.
• Proficiency in safety documentation, record-keeping and reporting systems.
• Valid First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book).
• Provide induction training and safety briefings to all site personnel, ensuring comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and procedures.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards and site regulations, issuing corrective notices where necessary.
• Maintain detailed safety records, documentation and reports, including injury logs, inspection reports and safety performance metrics.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct regular safety drills and toolbox talks.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety performance and recommend enhancements to safety systems.

About the role

We are seeking a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to join LF LANSEN SDN BHD in Cyberjaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction operations. As Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety standards across all project sites, protecting our workforce, and ensuring adherence to local and international safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book).
• Good skill in computer such as Microsoft Office
• Provide induction training and safety briefings to all site personnel, ensuring comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and procedures
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards and site regulations, issuing corrective notices where necessary
• Maintain detailed safety records, documentation and reports, including injury logs, inspection reports and safety performance metrics
• Liaise with project management, clients and regulatory authorities regarding safety matters and compliance issues
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct regular safety drills and toolbox talks
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety performance and recommend enhancements to safety systems
• Ensure proper use, maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment (PPE) across all site activities

What we're looking for

• Recognised Site Safety Supervisor qualification or equivalent certification in occupational health and safety
