Job summary

RNC Integral Concrete Technology in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, seeks a Site Safety Supervisor to lead on-site safety programs and coordinate PTW with the main contractor. DOSH SSS registration and construction-site experience are required.

You will conduct inductions, toolbox talks, monitor PPE, manage PTW, and maintain safety documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Valid DOSH Yellow Book / SSS registration required.
• Experience as Site Safety Supervisor in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of PTW, toolbox meetings, PPE and safety documentation.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with main contractor safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety induction and ensure workers have valid permits and PPE.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings and pre-task briefings to identify hazards.
• Monitor PPE compliance and site safety at all times.
• Manage and verify Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials; display MOS and MSDS.
• Conduct regular site inspections and housekeeping checks.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and site walks.
• Coordinate material delivery permits with delivery personnel.
• Maintain monthly manpower, equipment, hostel, and supplier master lists.
• Inspect machinery to ensure inspections and safety stickers are valid.
• Monitor and close out safety observations in the safety management system.
• Address unsafe conditions promptly and maintain safe practices.

• Conduct site safety induction and ensure all workers have valid permits, CIDB registration, and required PPE before commencing work.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and pre-task briefings to identify work activities, hazards, and required safety controls.
• Monitor and ensure workers comply with PPE and site safety requirements at all times.
• Manage and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) requirements, including application, verification, and closure upon completion of work.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials and chemicals, including availability and display of MOS, MSDS, and relevant signage.
• Conduct regular site inspections and housekeeping checks to ensure work areas remain safe and compliant.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings, safety community activities, and site walks with the main contractor’s safety team.
• Coordinate material delivery permits and ensure delivery personnel comply with site safety requirements.
• Maintain and submit monthly manpower, equipment, hostel, and supplier/material master lists.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure required inspections are completed and valid safety stickers are in place.
• Monitor and close out safety observations and findings through the relevant safety management system/app.
• Ensure safe working practices are maintained throughout all site activities and promptly address any unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Possess a valid DOSH Yellow Book / Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) registration.
• Relevant experience as a Site Safety Supervisor, preferably in construction projects.
• Good knowledge of site safety requirements, PTW, toolbox meetings, PPE, and safety documentation.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with workers and main contractor safety teams.
