Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee and enforce safety at the site, ensuring all regulations and PPE are followed. The role focuses on maintaining a safe working environment and compliance with safety requirements.

The candidate will conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, prepare safety and incident reports, and investigate accidents. DOSH Malaysia registration is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Safety, Health, or related field.
• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH Malaysia.
• 2–3 years of site safety experience, construction/oil & gas preferred.
• Knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle site pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Enforce PPE use and lead toolbox talks for site personnel.
• Prepare safety reports, incident reports and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure permits to work (PTW) are implemented and followed.
• Coordinate with site team and management on safety matters.
• Stop unsafe work and uphold DOSH project safety requirements.
