Job summary

GT-MAX CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD recruits a Site Safety Supervisor to monitor daily site safety, conduct inductions, and ensure compliance with OSHA/FMA/CIDB and safety regulations. You will liaise with subcontractors and site teams and support emergency drills, maintaining PPE use and safety signage.

Job description

· Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and legal requirements.

· Conduct site safety inductions and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.

· Assist in conducting risk assessments, HIRARC, and identifying hazards on-site.

· Report and record all unsafe acts, near-misses, incidents, and accidents.

· Always ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety signage.

· Carry out regular safety inspections and housekeeping checks.

· Support emergency response drills and ensure readiness of fire-fighting equipment.

· Assist the Safety and Health Officer in preparing safety reports and documentation.

· Liaise with subcontractors and site teams on safety-related matters.

· Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance on site.

Job Requirements

· Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Certificate recognized by DOSH.

· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.

· Familiar with OSHA, FMA, CIDB, and other relevant safety regulations.

· Good communication, observational, and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work independently and respond quickly to safety concerns.

· Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites daily.
